Bursting with flavor, tender, and deliciously satisfying! The salmon Piccata was perfection my husband’s Lamb chops were so tender and juicy such an excellent cut. The Brussel sprouts had me not wanting to share (althoughI did) and the spinach was seasoned perfectly. Also the salt on top of the dinner rolls was a nice touch.
We are putting Rosebud Steakhouse on the rotation list. It was our first visit but definitely not our last.
Not pictured is the jalapeño corn chowder…the best we’ve ever tasted from Massachusetts to California…the absolute BEST!
I was so goad to be in Munster Indiana and at Rosebud Steakhouse. This was honestly one of the best steakhouses I have been at. Parking plenty. Made reservations and was promptly seated. Coat check available Andra great white table cloth environment. All foods are Ala carte but worth every bite. The flavors and libations will please your palette. Portions made to perfection with delicious desserts to top the night off.
We will definitely return.
Everything that we had on 10/1/23 was amazing. 👏🏾 The service was top tier & we were impressed with our experience. Everyone we encountered was friendly and accommodating.
However, while my brother was at the sink washing his hands in the men's bathroom, a tall white male came from the stall, and he didn't wash his hands! We didn't alert anyone at the time since our mother was eager to head home, but we will contact the manager in hopes that staff is reminded about the importance of hand washing.
From start to finish. It was a rainy Friday 🌧 night. Didn't expect a coat check for my umbrella.🌂 nice. For starters my waitress Ebonee was fabulous 👌🏾. Her suggestions were spot on. She was very professional. Started with an old fashioned 🥃 and a salad 🥗 with chick peas. For my dinner l had the tortellini with mushrooms hold the meat. Washed my splendid meal down with an espresso martini. Ebonee again was a gracious hostess. I've already spreaded the word on social media and l shall be returning soon. Great job and thanks for choosing northwest Indiana as your newest location.
Absolutely amazing! We picked Rosebud to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and they did not disappoint. The filet and bone-in ribeye were excellent…the homemade vinaigrette on the salad was very good too. It’s Chicago steakhouse style in NW Indiana.
The ambience of the restaurant is classy. The waitress was phenomenal. Though I was hopeful of having a wonderful dinner, the manager was unable to resolve the issue that I experienced.
I took a friend to this restaurant for her birthday celebration last night. I ordered the Delmonico steak cooked to medium heat. When I received the steak, it looked almost burnt (see picture). It was overcooked but the most disgusting thing was that the steak rub was very salty. The salty taste overshadowed the taste of the steak. I asked to speak to the manager, who offered to cook another steak. I decided to upgrade to filet mignon since my friend's steak looked much more like a medium steak should be cooked. The manager said that he personally brought the steak to me. He asked me to cut the steak to see if it was cooked to medium heat. Though slightly less pink than I hoped, I accepted the steak since I had waited about 20 minutes for it. Upon my first bite, I again tasted an overly-salted rub. The manager apologized and took both steaks off my bill.
I again spoke with the manager to inquire why both steaks were so salty. He said that the rub was made in-house and thar perhaps too much salt was added. I suggested mixing a salt-free rub and providing a salt shaker to customers who need it. Though I hoped for a wonderful experience, I was extremely disappointed by my steak(s). In a health-conscious world, I do not understand why salt is used at this quantity at a restaurant with a higher than average price. When I dine at other steakhouses (Gibson's, Lawreys, Ruth Chris, etc.), I never taste salt. I was further disappointed that the manager took such a smug approach to resolving the problem. For a restaurant to survive at the price point they charge, the quality of food should maintain excellent quality. I do NOT recommend this restaurant due to the inconsistent quality of the preparation of steaks. They need to invite Chef Gordon Ramsey before the restaurant loses customers due to poor kitchen management. I hope no one else has my experience.
OMG! The food was fantastic! Drinks were on point. The service was awesome. Our server was the best. I highly recommend the baked Mac and cheese, the garlic Parm tater tots, and the Chicago cut Ribeye. Oh yeah, you've gotta try the buttercake for dessert. You will not be disappointed. 10/10 highly recommend
The owners of Rosebud are bold. They put a five star steak restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Very beautiful and elegant.. The place looked like it belonged in the bustling part of downtown chicago.. But it’s in a strip mall.. this is a …
